IIE Guwahati has issued a job advertisement for 2 Mentors' posts under the Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP). The posts will be filled purely on an honorarium basis for promoting non-farm livelihoods among rural populations.

                                          

Salary Range: ₹29,000 – ₹40,000

 

Eligibility Criteria of IIE SVEP Mentor

The applicant must have:

Master’s degree in any field, with Mathematics as a subject at least until Class XII (preferably from management, commerce, or engineering streams).

                         

Master's with a minimum of 3 years or Graduate

Desired Skill & Experiences:

 

Exceptional numerical skills and knowledge about businesses.

 

Experience with projects for scaling non-farming livelihood programs for the rural poor covering enterprise promotion, advice, and linkages along the value chain.

 

Experience in program management, delivering trainings, making decisions on basis of facts and data analysis.

 

Expertise in using Excel software or any other spreadsheet.

 

Practical experience with non-farming livelihood programs in rural areas.

 

Fluent in English, Hindi, and local languages.

 

Previous experience in SVEP projects is highly desirable.
