This
single entrance test is your gateway to securing a seat in B.Sc. Nursing, D.
Pharm, B. Pharm, and various Allied & Healthcare (B.Sc. Medical Technology)
courses across both Government and Private institutes throughout the
state.
Key Dates to Circle on Your Calendar
Timing
is everything when it comes to entrance exams. Here are the milestones for your
2026 application journey:
Official
Notification Date: March 9, 2026.
Online
Application Window: March 20, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
Admit
Card Download: Available from May 20, 2026.
Date of
Entrance Examination: June 7, 2026 (Sunday).
Exam
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Eligibility: Do You Qualify?
SSUHS
has specific requirements for each stream. Make sure you fit the criteria
before starting your application.
1. B.Sc. Nursing
Nationality:
Must be a citizen of India.
Residency:
A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is mandatory for those aiming for
Government Institutes in Assam.
Gender
Note: Only female candidates are eligible for B.Sc. Nursing in Government
Institutes.
Age
Limit: You must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026, and not older
than 35.
Academic
Background: You need to have passed 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, and English.
Minimum
Marks: A minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) is
required.
2. Pharmacy
Courses (B. Pharm & D. Pharm)
Nationality
& Residency: Must
be an Indian citizen; PRC is required for Government seats.
Age:
Minimum 17 years by December 31, 2026.
Education:
10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or
Mathematics.
Important
Restriction: Students from open schools (like NIOS) are not eligible for the B.
Pharm degree course.
3. Allied
& Healthcare (B.Sc. Medical Technology)
Courses
Included: This
includes Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Optometry (B.Optom), Medical
Laboratory Sciences, and Dialysis Therapy, among others.
Academic
Bar: 10+2 (Science) with PCB and English.
Cut-off
Marks: 45% aggregate in PCB for General candidates and 40% for
SC/ST/OBC/MOBC.
Understanding
the Exam Pattern
The CEE
2026 is designed to test your core science knowledge.
Format:
100 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Total
Marks: 100 (25 marks each for English, Physics, and Chemistry, and 25 marks for
Biology or Mathematics).
Subject
Choice:
Nursing
& Allied Health: You must take English, Physics, Chemistry, and
Biology.
Pharmacy:
You must take English, Physics, Chemistry, and choose either Biology or
Mathematics.
Standard:
The questions will follow the Higher Secondary (10+2) Science
syllabus.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step

the Portal: Go to www.ssuhs.ac.in during
the application window.
•Read
Instructions: Carefully go through the online instructions before filling the
form.
•Payment:
Pay the non-refundable entrance fee online via the University payment gateway.
(Note: PwD candidates with 40%+ disability are exempt from this fee)

Safety: Crucial! Keep a safe record of your Application Number and Password.
You cannot download your Admit Card without them.
•No
Paperwork (Yet): You do not need to send physical documents to the University.

Tip for Aspirants: Since merit is determined by the total marks across all
subjects, don't ignore English! In case of a tie, your marks in Biology (or
