1. Educational Qualification

SSC Stenographer Selection Process

Computer Based Examination (CBE): An objective type test covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.

Skill Test in Stenography: Candidates who clear the CBE are called for a shorthand test. Candidates will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi.

Grade C: 100 words per minute (wpm)

Grade D: 80 words per minute (wpm)

Document Verification: Final selection based on merit and preference of departments.

Exam Pattern (CBE)

The online exam consists of 200 questions to be solved in 2 hours.
