Eligibility Criteria for Posts in
Border Road Organization
Gender: Applications should be
strictly submitted by males only.
Age Criteria: Age limit shall be
updated shortly after official notification is issued.
Relaxation in Age:
i) SC & ST: 5 years
ii) OBC: 3 Years
Educational
Requirement:
·
Draughtsman:
1. Pass in 10 Plus 2 with Science
subjects; and
2. Possess two years certificate in
architecture/draughtsmanship from a recognized institute;
Or
Possess two years NTC in draughtsmen
(civil) from any recognized institute along with 1 year work experience in the
field.
·
Hindi Typist:
i) 10+2 from any recognized board or
equivalent;
ii) Typing Speed: 30 words per minute
in Hindi on computer (30 words per minute equal to 9000 KDPH at the average
rate of 5 key depressions per word).
·
Store Keeper Technical
(SKT):
(i) 10 + 2 recognized board or its
equivalent;
(ii) Store Keeping knowledge
concerning vehicles or engineering stores
·
Operator
Communication:
(i) Matriculation recognized board or
its equivalent;
(ii) Either hold certificate as
Wireless Operator or Radio Mechanic by the Industrial Training Institute or its
equivalent,
Or
Hold Defence Trade Certificate by
Army Institute or equivalent defense institution having knowledge about radio
technology,
Or
Class I course for Wireless Operator
and Key Board as per Defence Service Regulations (Qualifications Regulations
for Soldiers).

Requirements for Operator
Excavating Machinery (OEM):
(i) Matriculation from any recognized
board; or
(ii) Holding a heavy motor vehicle
driving license; or
Holding Dozer / Excavator driving
license for six months of experience driving Dozer / Excavator; or
(iii) Being a class II course holder
in Operator Excavating Machinery according to Defence Services Regulations
(Qualification Regulations for Soldiers).

Electrician:
Requirement – Matriculation (10th)
& having an ITI or equivalent certificate for Auto Electrician and one year
of experience in Electrical work.
