The
notification for RBI Assistant vacancies in 2026 comes with 650 vacancies all
over India, with 36 vacancies in Assam (Guwahati Branch). The distribution of

Assistant 2026: Age, Eligibility, Fees Criteria & Other Guidelines
Candidates need to be aged 20-28 (born on or after
February 2, 1998, and before February 1, 2006) to apply for RBI Assistant jobs.
Relaxation in age criteria will be available up to 5 years for SC/ST, up to 3
years for OBC, and up to 15 years for PwBD/SC/ST.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any
discipline having 50% aggregate score (passing class for SC/ST/PwD) along with
PC word processing skill and knowledge of the regional language of the office,
say Guwahati in case of candidates from Assam.
The application fees are Rs 50 + 18% GST for
SC/ST/PwD/EXS category; Rs 450 + 18% GST for UR/EWS/OBC and Nil for staff.
