Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
Engineering Roles: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in relevant
branches with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
GATE Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for the GATE
2025 exam in the respective paper code.
2. Age Limit (As of Jan 1, 2026)
Upper Age Limit: 30 Years.
Age Relaxation: * OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
SC/ST: 5 Years
PwD: 10 Years
Selection Process:-
The selection process for CIL MT Recruitment 2026 is
streamlined to ensure the highest quality of technical talent:
Shortlisting:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE 2025 Scores (Normalized

Document Verification:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents.
Initial Medical Examination (IME): Selected candidates must

Salary and Benefits
Management Trainees will be placed in the E-2 Grade in the
scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 at the initial basic of ₹50,000 per month.
On Completion of Probation:
Trainees will be regularized as Assistant Managers in E-3 Grade (Scale: ₹60,000
– ₹1,80,000).
